Every TOJEN platform is built from components we can name, trace and replace — assembled at our manufacturing partner's facility in Xingtai, Hebei.

Orders of 50 units or more receive a full unit-by-unit QC inspection before shipment — frame, motor, battery and accessories against the confirmed brief.

Four redacted conformity and test documents are published for reference. Each document has its own holder, product scope and validity status, and none is presented as covering the complete TOJEN product range.

The General Product Safety Directive certificate expires on 28 September 2026 and moves to the historical evidence area on that date. No document on this page is presented as covering the full range: model scope is mapped per order, and a certification statement is only added to a product page once that model is mapped to a document. Ten checks, applied to every unit in an order of 20 or more, at the shipping location and before the goods leave.
- Specification is fixed in writing before production starts.
- Components match the confirmed build sheet, including motor, controller and battery pack.
- Assembly completeness: every unit is checked, not a sample of the order.
- Battery fitment, connector seating and charge behaviour are checked per unit.
- Brake operation and wheel true are checked per unit.
- Display, lights and assist behaviour are checked against the confirmed configuration.
- Carton protection, accessory bag and spare-parts allocation match the order.
- Shipping marks and labels match the destination market documents.

When does quality control happen?
Full QC inspection runs at the shipping location before the order is dispatched, on orders of 50 units or more. Inspection happens before the goods leave, not at the destination port.
What is actually inspected?
Assembly completeness against the confirmed specification, component match, battery fitment, brakes and electrics, and the packaging and labelling the order calls for. The inspection is a full check of the order, not a sample of it.
Can we use a third-party inspection company?
Yes, at the buyer's cost. Coordinate the timing so the inspection happens before dispatch, and confirm the arrangement in the quotation.
Which documents arrive with an order?
The commercial documents for the agreed Incoterm - quotation, order confirmation, commercial invoice and packing list - plus any model-linked documents agreed in the quotation.
Is there a warranty on the bikes?
TOJEN does not provide a blanket warranty covering every component of the complete bicycle. Against non-human damage, the frame carries a 12-month limited warranty and the battery carries a 6-month limited warranty. Other components and spare-parts support are confirmed in the quotation. Continuity after that comes from spare parts and technical guidance, and the spare-parts scope is agreed with the order.
